28th International Scientific Symposium on Biometrics

Split, Croatia, 1 - 4 September 2027

Researchers and practitioners in the field of biometrics – development and application of statistical and mathematical methods for data analysis in life sciences – are encouraged to take part in this symposium organised by the Croatian Biometric Society - Croatian Region of the International Biometric Society.

VENUE

The Symposium takes place in Split, the historic heart of the Dalmatian coast and Croatia’s second-largest city. Renowned for its rich heritage and Mediterranean atmosphere, Split grew around the ancient Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site whose Roman walls, narrow streets and lively squares still shape the city today. Alongside its historical landmarks, Split offers a dynamic cultural life with a wide range of festivals, performances and artistic events throughout the year. Visitors can also explore the natural beauty of the Adriatic Sea, relax in Marjan Forest Park, or discover the nearby islands, beaches and mountain landscapes.
